Summer 2027 Engineering Internship (Greenville, SC)

About the role

Michelin is offering Summer 2027 internships in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer and Electrical Engineering at its Greenville location in South Carolina. The internship takes place in an industrial plant environment, Monday to Friday on day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to achieve common objectives.
• Work with maintenance, quality and other cross-functional teams to meet daily and annual performance goals and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor the short- and long-term needs of the facility so that succession needs are met and employees have opportunities for development and career growth.
• Facilitate the identification and implementation of process and team improvements.

Required profile

• Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science.
• Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis; the position is not available for immigration sponsorship.
• Willingness to work in an industrial plant environment, Monday to Friday on day shift.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn other software systems.
