Structural Assistant Project Manager

About the role

The Structural Assistant Project Manager will support project delivery for LBYD Engineers, gaining exposure to full project management responsibilities while working on a variety of structural and civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing complete sets of structural plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, using Revit to review models and ensure multidisciplinary alignment.
• Participate in contract bidding, proposal writing, and project administration tasks such as billing.
• Maintain client communication throughout design development and site visits as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum three years of structural design experience and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and solid organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with SAPP, RAM, and RISA software.
• Knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) structural sections.
