Director, Facilities

About the role

Lead all facilities operations for a multi‑building medical device campus, overseeing R&D labs, cleanroom manufacturing, and corporate office functions. Drive a technology‑enabled vision that incorporates AI, predictive maintenance, and smart‑building solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term master facility plans, including expansion, space optimization, and capital projects.
• Implement AI‑driven predictive maintenance programs using CMMS and IoT, and optimize building management systems.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, vendor contracts, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, EHS, and regulatory requirements, and partner with EHS on safety and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead ISO 50001‑aligned energy efficiency projects and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with AI‑enabled facilities systems, predictive maintenance, CMMS, and IoT.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001 energy management standards.
