Strategic Account Manager - Life Insurance

About the role

Ethos Life, a life insurance technology company, is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to work closely with the Enterprise Sales team and grow and manage enterprise-level accounts. The role is remote in the US, with about 5 days of travel per month, and prefers candidates within 1 hour of a major airport.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post-deal partner management, including sales planning, adoption of the Ethos offering and growth management
• Monitor and maintain account performance using data-driven metrics
• Cultivate strong relationships with key agents and influencers
• Build thought leadership and help establish a trusted brand
• Dive into the user experience and product roadmap and act as the voice of the account partner to internal stakeholders
• Oversee partnership onboarding, integration and relationship management
• Drive optimization of sales processes and integrations
• Design and run account growth rollout plans such as integration plans, enablement and co-marketing with partners

Required profile

• 5 years of experience in life insurance distribution
• Experience with network marketing organizations
• Sales development experience growing sales through newly acquired distribution relationships with downline sub-agencies and agents
• Knowledge of the competitive product and operational value chain
• Ability to craft a value proposition and sell the right solution per situation
• Preferred: marketing or consumer sales experience, and experience scaling and optimizing enterprise partnerships and accounts

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$180,000; the posted range covers all US locations and does not include bonus, equity or benefits.
