Licensed Life Insurance Sales Agent (Remote)

About the role

Ethos is a life insurance technology company that wants to make life insurance accessible and simple, with products that need no medical exam and only a few health questions. As an Insurance Sales Specialist, you guide customers through the life insurance buying process, explain how life insurance works and which products fit their situation, and deliver a transparent, high-quality customer experience. You reach out to customers who start an application on the site, help them complete it and guide them through the purchase once approved.

Key responsibilities

• Engage potential customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails and SMS
• Educate customers on Ethos' products and processes
• Discover individual needs and position Ethos' value accordingly
• Build relationships and drive monthly and quarterly conversion targets
• Partner with sales, marketing, customer experience and product teams to hit team and company goals
• Manage a pipeline of customers and follow up through application and purchase
• Improve workflows and outreach strategies, and drive referrals through positive customer experiences

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in life insurance telesales
• Strong sales track record and ability to overcome customer objections
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
• Excellent communication skills, including a strong phone presence
• Quick learner in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask and adapt to change

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent sales/CRM software
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to spot customer friction points and propose solutions

The US on-target earnings range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $200,000, paid as a W-2 hourly base plus commissions. Candidates who do not meet every requirement are encouraged to apply.
