Storeperson - Engineering Manufacturing

About the role

Marand US is looking for a storeperson to manage the end-to-end process of materials and parts, from receiving incoming goods to delivery to the assembly line. The role covers stock control, kitting and liaison with production teams, and is based in Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods into the Marand ERP system, unpack deliveries and check for damage
• Unload and load trucks safely with forklifts or pallet jacks
• Store and record parts, maintaining accurate stock levels using Kanban systems, document registers and physical stocktaking
• Perform cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes, following FIFO principles
• Control the flow of materials from store to shopfloor and kit parts trolleys for workstations
• Allocate kitted materials to jobs in the ERP system (M1) and deliver them to workstations
• Inspect workstation racks for empty stock boxes and liaise with production teams to anticipate needs and minimise downtime

Required profile

• Previous store experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Forklift licence
• Previous experience in ERP systems, preferably M1
• High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to follow standard work and good communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement; physical ability to meet the role's inherent requirements
