Operator II (Stand Up Lift Driver)

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring Operators (Stand Up Forklift) for its Wellford, SC location, supporting a large-scale distribution facility. The role covers inbound, outbound and processing tasks such as palletizing, loading trailers and order fulfillment. Key responsibilities

• Inbound: unload containers, palletize freight, run pickles robots, sort pallets, operate authorized equipment (Pacer, clamp, motorized pallet jack, reach), put away freight, verify inventory and repalletize inbound goods.
• Outbound: build and run pallets, load trailers manually and with powered equipment, move freight with pallet jacks, stack and restack freight, apply stretch film and prepare shipments.
• Processing: operate equipment, fulfill orders, pick and replenish full pallets, retrieve from RAFT and bulk storage, detrash and pick from Autostore, pack and induce full cases onto belts, and move freight, tools and supplies manually.
• Operate lift equipment following safety guidelines, follow inbound SOPs, keep the workplace clean and safe, and comply with company policies.

Required profile

• No final warnings and less than 6 attendance points.
• Efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months.
• Currently in the same role for more than 6 months.
• Physical dexterity, ability to stand and walk for long periods, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying temperatures.
• Available to work long hours and weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Simple math skills, reading lists, orders or instructions and using a weight scale.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely while wearing required PPE.
