Operator II - Forklift (Stand-Up) - Distribution Centre

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring Operators (Stand-Up Forklift) for its Wellford, SC location to support a large-scale distribution facility. The role covers inbound, outbound and processing tasks, and department assignments are subsets of the Operator position; all employees must meet the minimum requirements and perform all duties.

Key responsibilities

• Inbound: unload containers, palletize freight and pickled robot loads, sort pallets, operate authorized equipment (Pacer, clamp, motorized pallet jack, reach truck), put away freight, verify inventory manually and repalletize inbound freight.
• Outbound: build and run pallets, load trailers manually and with powered equipment, move freight with pallet jacks, stack and restack freight, apply stretch film and prepare shipments.
• Processing: operate equipment, fulfill orders using powered industrial equipment, pick to pallet, detrash and pick from Autostore, pack full cases and putwall induction, and move freight, tools and supplies manually.
• Operate lift equipment following safety guidelines, follow inbound SOPs, keep the workplace clean and safe, and comply with company policies.

Required profile

• No final warnings and less than 6 attendance points.
• Efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months.
• Currently in the same role for more than 6 months.
• Physical dexterity, ability to stand and walk for long periods, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying temperatures.
• Available to work long hours and weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Simple math skills, reading lists, orders or instructions and using a weight scale.
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment and wearing required PPE.
