Startup Accounting Manager

About the role

Togetherhood is seeking an Accounting Manager who blends solid accounting fundamentals with a passion for improving business operations. You will own the accounting function, ensure accurate monthly closes, and support revenue and operational initiatives as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close in QuickBooks Online, prepare financial statements, and manage accounts payable/receivable using Tipalti and Upflow.
• Calculate and administer sales commissions, handle partner invoicing, and improve CRM data quality and reporting.
• Support operational expansion, coordinate vendor onboarding, document processes, and automate workflows across finance, operations, and customer success.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of accounting experience in a small or growing business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
