Program Manager, Business and Data

About the role

The Program Manager, Business & Data will structure ambiguous business problems, build models, and drive analysis to actionable insights using AI tools. Positioned in Billtrust’s Strategy Office, this role partners across Customer, Go-to-Market, Finance, and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take loosely defined business questions and turn them into clear analytical approaches with hypotheses.
• Build financial and operational models to size opportunities and support decision‑making for strategic programs.
• Use AI tools to accelerate data extraction, cleaning, and first‑pass analysis, focusing on interpretation and stress‑testing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that provide leadership with current program performance metrics.
• Own end‑to‑end execution of assigned strategic initiatives, converting open items into structured plans with owners and deadlines.

Required profile

• Located in Nashville, TN, able to work onsite at the Gulch office.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT/Data, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, finance or a related analytical role.
• Systematic thinker comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving tasks to closure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or equivalent modeling tool proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into data analysis workflows.
• Strong quantitative and modeling skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication for presenting and defending analyses.
