Senior Accountant – Audit Support & Financial Reporting (Healthcare)

About the role

Beech Valley is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant for an interim, onsite engagement supporting a healthcare provider through a busy year‑end audit. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who can manage high‑volume requests and deliver audit‑ready reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support external audit facilitation, including PBC request management, stakeholder follow‑ups, and documentation control.
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables such as footnotes, roll‑forwards, financial statement tie‑outs, supporting schedules, and audit documentation.
• Prepare and support reconciliations and documentation packages required for audit testing.
• Maintain organization across multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in an onsite environment.

Required profile

• Senior Accountant‑level experience supporting external audits.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial reporting experience (tie‑outs, footnotes, roll‑forwards).
• Highly detail‑oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced audit setting.

Required skills

• SOX (Sarbanes‑Oxley) compliance knowledge.
