Business Process Analyst II

About the role

The City of Fort Worth Water Utility seeks a Business Process Analyst II to turn data into insights, improve operations, and support financial planning for reliable water service.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for business processes and system issues, investigate root causes and resolve or escalate concerns.
• Gather business requirements, document workflows and recommend changes to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to help staff understand performance and identify trends.
• Analyze financial, budget and water‑usage data to support forecasting, benchmarking and rate modeling.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks, investigate data discrepancies and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
• At least four years of business analysis experience in finance, revenue generation or related areas.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
