Director, Professional Services

About the role

The Director, Professional Services leads Billtrust’s implementation business, overseeing Project Management and Business Analysis teams. This senior leadership position drives service delivery excellence, P&L accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration while leveraging AI tools to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership across the Professional Services organization to deliver world‑class, value‑add experiences and drive product usage expansion.
• Ensure projects meet client requirements, achieve high satisfaction, and become referenceable.
• Drive continuous innovation, process improvement, and AI‑enabled forecasting to improve ROI and delivery consistency.
• Own P&L responsibility, meeting revenue and profit targets and maintaining accurate forecasts.
• Recruit, manage, and coach a diverse team of managers and contributors, fostering cross‑functional alignment with Sales, Finance, Product, and Development.

Required profile

• 7‑9+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years leading cross‑functional professional services teams in software/SaaS.
• Proven client management instincts and ability to build effective relationships with partners.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership with accountability for revenue, margin, and forecasting.
• Experience developing methodologies and operational frameworks that differentiate service delivery.

• Track record of driving AI adoption to improve operational efficiency and delivery outcomes.
