Staffing Business Developer / Sales Manager (Industrial & Technical)

About the role

Enerstaff, a premier multi-disciplinary staffing firm serving the petrochemical, energy and industrial sectors since 1999, is looking for a driven, results-oriented Business Developer to grow its footprint in the Gulf Coast region. The position is based in Clear Lake, Texas (Houston area) and is full-time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to account management, to expand market presence.
• Hunt and prospect new business in industrial and technical sectors through cold calling, LinkedIn and networking.
• Develop and implement plans to grow the customer base in the petrochemical, energy and mechanical industries.
• Evaluate client needs and propose tailored staffing solutions (temporary, temp-to-hire, direct-hire).
• Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, procurement and HR professionals.
• Present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to spot risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales or staffing/recruitment; industrial/technical staffing experience highly preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with industrial, mechanical or safety staffing is a plus.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and proactive "hunter" mentality.
