South Central Region Power Delivery Practice Lead

About the role

HDR is looking for a strategic leader to head its Power Delivery practice across the South‑Central region. The role will shape the future of power delivery services, supporting the evolution of the electric grid and driving growth for the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional strategy for HDR’s Power Delivery practice.
• Set performance goals and drive results through a matrixed partnership with peer practice and technical leaders in hydropower, renewable generation, and thermal generation.
• Collaborate with internal client, project, and operational teams as well as external clients to define diversification and growth initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams, ensuring high‑quality solutions and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Recognized industry leader with deep knowledge of the power delivery market.
• Strategic thinker who can translate market evolution into comprehensive solutions.
• Strong communicator comfortable with one‑on‑one discussions, board‑room presentations, and large‑audience technical briefings.
• High emotional intelligence, able to understand client needs and motivate diverse teams.
• Proactive, results‑oriented, and dedicated to the success of colleagues and clients.
