About the role
The client, a leading electrical contractor in the Pacific Northwest, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects in the Walla Walla, Washington area. This senior role will oversee all phases from pre‑construction planning through closeout on a major federal project.
Key responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from award through completion, maintaining schedules, budgets, forecasts and cost controls.
- Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders to ensure efficient execution.
- Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, specifications and government standards.
- Monitor performance against scope, schedule, quality and budget, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead project meetings, provide regular progress reports, and oversee procurement, material deliveries and subcontractor performance.
- Manage closeout activities, including documentation, commissioning support and final turnover.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated experience with federal construction projects and government contracting environments.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and contract administration.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts and related documentation.
- Leadership, communication and negotiation skills with a focus on building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
