About the role

Join Lifespace’s maintenance team in Tyler, Texas, providing essential upkeep and repairs for senior‑living communities. You’ll perform routine preventive maintenance, address deficiencies, and support refurbishment projects in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance.
• Identify deficiencies and follow procedures to correct problems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies, notifying supervisors of replacement needs.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs, completing work within scheduled time frames and budget.
• Install, finish, repair, paint, and remove drywall or other materials.
• Pick up and deliver supplies, and operate maintenance equipment such as hand tools, power tools, company vehicles, and snow blowers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical education preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in building maintenance or construction.
• Relevant certifications or licenses required by state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
