Social Media Manager & Video Editor

About the role

TopFoxx, a women-owned NYC eyewear brand selling through Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon and other channels, is looking for a Social Media Manager with strong video editing skills. The role owns organic social media from strategy through execution, from researching trends and developing concepts to editing short-form videos and publishing. It is remote, full-time, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern, and requires fluent English.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the organic strategy across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms, building content pillars, recurring formats, series and campaigns.
• Edit a high volume of short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels, turning raw footage, UGC, product footage and trends into engaging content with strong hooks, captions, text, graphics, music and sound effects.
• Research trends, creators, memes, sounds and U.S. culture, and turn them into original concepts rather than copying others.
• Write original concepts, hooks, captions, on-screen text and short-form scripts, and build a pipeline of content ideas.
• Monitor competitors, creators and community conversations, and keep organized libraries of inspiration, trends, hooks and concepts.
• Publish content according to the agreed schedule, write captions and hashtags, and optimize each post for its platform.
• Track KPIs such as reach, views, watch time, retention, engagement, shares, saves and follower growth, and report on performance and next steps.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, video editing or organic social strategy.
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram organic content.
• Fluent English; ability to work independently and take initiative.

What we offer

• Pay of $1,200 to $1,800 USD per month plus performance bonuses based on experience.
