About the role
DuckDuckGo, a remote-first team of 400+ people, is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join its Marketing & Communications functional team. Key responsibilities
- Manage paid media channels to acquire new app users profitably
- Plan, run and optimize app acquisition campaigns on Google, Microsoft and Apple ad platforms
- Launch new ad channel tests and measure incremental lift
- Run in-market tests of new creative and messaging to improve app install conversion
- Own a portfolio of existing channels (Google ads, paid social, app install campaigns) and scale them efficiently
- Deliver results from new channel testing, app acquisition, subscriber growth, paid advertising and creative testing
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in digital advertising roles; 2+ years in marketing consumer apps preferred
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing paid digital advertising programs (Google Ads, Apple Ads, etc.) and familiarity with non-digital paid media (CTV, TV)
- Proven track record of scaling app install growth profitably while improving unit economics
- Ability to handle complex, ambiguous projects across business strategy and marketing tactics
- Experience running incrementality tests (geo holdouts, lift studies, PSA/ghost ads)
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain recommendations and rationale clearly
Required skills
- Advanced analytics: modeling app economics (payback, LTV), data analysis, scenario planning and campaign outcome projection
- Always-on creative testing pipeline
- Use of aggregate measurement and experimentation rather than user-level targeting and tracking
What we offer
- Compensation of $178,500 USD annually and stock options
- Flexible work arrangement with no core hours, average full-time commitment of 40 hours per week
- Company-sponsored health benefits available only to team members based in the United States
