Social Media Manager, Direct to Consumer

About the role

LifeScan, a global leader in blood glucose monitoring and digital health technology, is hiring a Social Media Manager for its direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. The role supports the US Consumer & Retail Channel team by creating and executing social content for the OneTouch brand, reporting to the Marketing Manager of the US Consumer and Retail Channel. It is listed as remote.

Key responsibilities

• Create, write, schedule and publish organic content on Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok and other platforms, aligned with DTC priorities
• Translate annual and quarterly DTC priorities into platform-specific content and executions
• Develop paid and organic content that moves consumers from awareness to trial, subscription and reorder
• Build and run Reddit strategy and activations, including paid and organic opportunities
• Develop and optimize creative assets for Meta and other paid social channels, and review performance to improve future creatives
• Support the OneTouch subscription and reorder program and influencer campaigns, partnering with e-commerce, CRM/retention and Legal/Regulatory teams
• Track engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, conversion and subscription activity, and turn insights into recommendations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field; Master's a plus
• 4+ years of hands-on social media experience, including direct content creation and publishing
• Demonstrated experience writing social copy and developing content for Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok and similar platforms
• Specific Reddit experience, including platform culture and engagement norms
• Experience developing or briefing creative assets for Meta advertising
• Preferred: experience in a regulated industry (HCP/Consumer/Pharma O&M or medical device) with Legal/Regulatory/MLR review processes

Required skills

• Social media management and listening tools (e.g. Sprout Social)
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and web analytics (e.g. GA4)
