Site Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Site Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer to lead EHS initiatives at its East Aurora, NY facility. The role involves implementing EHS programs, delivering training, and ensuring regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies for site operations.
• Create and update EHS procedures, audit programs, and support compliance initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver EHS training programs for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor regulatory requirements, prepare reports (OSHA, ESG), and support emergency response activities.
• Interact with regulatory agencies during inspections and manage follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, chemical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven ability to interpret EHS data, support incident investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training and assisting with internal and external reporting.
