Data Analyst – Environmental Health & Safety

About the role

Moog’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret EHS data that supports compliance and risk management. The position is hybrid, based at the corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York, with several days on‑site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports that monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
• Collaborate with EHS, IT, and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and build robust data ecosystems.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to improve EHS processes, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and residence in the Buffalo area (no relocation assistance).
