Shift Manager – Fast‑Food Restaurant

About the role

The Shift Manager leads the restaurant team during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction. This role supports the General Manager in daily operations and contributes to business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Manager‑in‑Charge (MIC) Success Routine to maintain consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy while managing product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and provide feedback to the GM on team performance.
• Assist with profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor scheduling.
• Participate in training, coaching, and performance feedback for team members.
• Support hiring processes and help maintain health, safety, and facility standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; shift‑lead experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and maintain punctual attendance.

• Cash register operation and basic math.
