Service Technician – Las Vegas

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical condition of its Las Vegas property. The role involves performing mechanical and technical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company procedures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service activities accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals and safety codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and team members.

Required skills

• Mechanical and technical maintenance proficiency.
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management.
• Ability to operate pressure‑washing equipment and perform basic painting tasks.
