Water Resources Lead – Engineering Project Manager

About the role

As a Water Resources Lead you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the design, analysis, and construction of complex water systems. This senior engineering position offers the chance to work on large, multi‑discipline projects while developing a broad skill set in water infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with office management and other project managers to share resources.
• Assist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations, scope, schedule, and budget development.
• Interface with clients, state and local agencies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Negotiate revisions and changes with sub‑consultants and clients.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Coordinate design activities to meet codes and client requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and studies.
• Perform independent reviews of calculations and drawings.
• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• 8+ years of experience in water facilities engineering, design, or construction.
• Proven ability to manage engineering, design, or construction projects.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work on local projects or collaborate with other offices.
• Track record of meeting project deadlines and budgets.

• Civil3D (preferred).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• 2D Modeling.
