Customer Solutions Estimator – Pacific District

About the role

KONE is seeking a highly motivated Customer Solutions Estimator to support its growing project business in the Pacific District. The role blends technical expertise with commercial acumen to develop accurate cost estimates, risk assessments, and customer‑focused solutions for elevator and building‑access projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce competitive estimates and complete tender packages.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, vendors, and operations to ensure estimates reflect current costs, schedules, and constructability considerations.
• Partner with Sales Consultants to develop winning strategies, provide technical expertise during customer presentations, and influence project specifications.
• Support major project pursuits from acquisition through execution, including forecasting, bid strategy, and transition planning.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for estimating accuracy, productivity, and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating, construction, engineering, or elevator systems, with a proven ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with forecasting tools.
• Ability to review construction drawings and specifications.
