Service Technician – Cameo

About the role

The Service Technician will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Entry‑level position; no prior industry experience required.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, on‑call evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.

Required skills

• CPO and EPA certifications (Type I, II or Universal) preferred.
• Familiarity with Yardi, HappyCo and Latch software is a plus.
