Senior Maintenance Supervisor for Large Multifamily Property

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Supervisor will manage all technical and mechanical work for Village East, a 112‑unit affordable housing community in Salem, Oregon. This full‑time position ensures the property’s interior, exterior, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and coordinate outside vendors, tracking warranties and service requests.
• Develop and enforce standards for property cleanliness and appearance.
• Perform and oversee hot‑water heater repairs, basic carpentry, and other mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Assist in budgeting for routine repairs, preventive maintenance and capital expenses.
• Process resident work orders promptly and ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Strong knowledge of hot‑water heater repair, carpentry and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work onsite and manage a small team.
