Maintenance Technician at Cru at Willows

About the role

The Maintenance Technician supports the Cru at Willows community, ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. This full‑time onsite position involves responding to resident requests, performing make‑ready tasks, and assisting with vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and codes.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Maintain exterior buildings and parking areas, perform pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting of curbs and signage.
• Assist with vendor management, inventory tracking, and documentation of all maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, basic plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and entry‑level carpentry.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation) and EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification.

Required skills

• Safe use and maintenance of hand and power tools.
• Basic plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.
• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
