Part-Time Leasing Professional for Student Living Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for The Cloud on Fifth student living community, driving occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and manage lease sign‑ups.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, resident data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily operations.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.
• Prepare renewal packages, contact renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $19.00‑$21.00.
