Server (On Call) - Clark & Bourbon

About the role

Live! by Loews in St. Louis, part of Ballpark Village, is hiring a server for its Clark & Bourbon restaurant. The server delivers food and beverages, anticipates guest needs and creates a warm, memorable dining experience. The role is on call and requires regular attendance in line with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus confidently
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
• Process payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy and stocked
• Assist with opening, closing and restocking duties
• Support team members for timely, coordinated service
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required skills

• POS system experience preferred
