Senior/Staff Product Engineer

About the role

Runway is building a collaborative business planning platform that replaces spreadsheets with a modern, intuitive system. As a Senior/Staff Product Engineer you will shape both the product and the company culture while working remotely across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Build product: collaborate with design and product to plan, architect, and implement core features, iterating quickly in small batches.
• Build our technical foundation: create flexible, adaptable infrastructure to support complex business‑modeling needs.
• Grow the team: help attract, hire, and mentor talent, setting the standard for a high‑performing engineering group.

Required profile

• Ownership mindset with autonomy to solve customer problems.
• 5+ years of professional full‑stack engineering experience; staff‑level experience is a plus.
• Track record of building high‑quality products fast in a startup environment.
• Growth mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Collaborative approach, working closely with PM, design, CX, sales, marketing, and users.
