Cloud Administrator

About the role

Xel Staffing is recruiting an experienced Cloud Administrator for an international client based in the United States. The role involves independently managing cloud environments, ensuring system availability, and collaborating with U.S.-based technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, databases, networking resources, and cloud services.
• Monitor performance, availability, and resource utilization; troubleshoot outages and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement identity and access controls, security policies, firewall rules, and network security groups.
• Configure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in cloud or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience administering Windows Server or Linux systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
