About the role
APEX TK is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer III to support the MDA Chief Engineer in modernizing engineering practices. The role focuses on model‑based systems engineering to shift the agency away from document‑driven processes.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and develop new system models that will serve as the foundation for future MDA engineering efforts.
- Utilize a variety of MBSE tools and coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on model development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance and strong experience in model‑based engineering.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter.
- Experience in interface or interoperability engineering domains, including C2, data transport, and PNT.
