Founding Data Engineer

About the role

Reducto is building an agentic document platform for leading AI teams. As the Founding Data Engineer you will design and own the entire data stack, turning raw data into a trusted source of truth that powers product, finance and growth decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own core data systems such as Snowflake, Postgres, Clickhouse and data lakes, and set the direction for stack evolution.
• Build and maintain end‑to‑end pipelines that unify product usage, sales and finance data from APIs, webhooks and third‑party sources.
• Model raw data into clean, documented tables and ensure data reliability through tests, freshness checks and lineage.
• Partner with engineering, finance, ops and GTM teams to deliver business metrics and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with strong SQL, Python and dbt skills.
• Experience building production pipelines and owning data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
• Ability to design systems that scale and to work independently as the sole data hire.
• Comfort turning vague business requests into clear, deliverable data solutions.
