DevOps Engineer

About the role

Remedy Robotics is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the developer platform for a multidisciplinary team building an autonomous surgical robot. You will ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines, manage lab and cloud infrastructure, and improve developer productivity across software, ML, hardware, and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for Python, C++, and TypeScript codebases, including testing and deployment.
• Own lab compute infrastructure (on‑prem Ubuntu servers, GPU workstations) and cloud resources for training, data processing, and remote services.
• Integrate hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing into CI workflows and harden security for on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Support ML workflows, GPU compute pipelines, experiment tracking, and model deployment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering on complex production systems.
• Strong Linux systems administration and infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.
• Excellent communication and a service‑oriented mindset focused on developer productivity.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, self‑hosted runners)
• Python (advanced), C++, TypeScript
• Cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• ML pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., SkyPilot, Metaflow, Ray)
