Senior Vice President, Global Business Solutions Center – People & Capability

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead People & Capability for its Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC). Reporting to the EVP of GBSC and matrixed to the EVP of People & Capability, you will shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure governance across critical HR functions for a worldwide team of over 1,300 colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead GBSC People & Capability operations covering benefits, compensation, leaves, mobility, payroll, new‑hire services and employee inquiry support.
• Define and execute a multi‑year roadmap that delivers measurable business benefits, operational efficiency and a service‑excellence model.
• Implement governance frameworks, analytics and risk‑mitigation processes to support growth and financial discipline.
• Partner with enterprise stakeholders to align HR initiatives with broader corporate strategy and corporate People & Capability objectives.
• Drive cross‑functional projects across key program areas, ensuring consistent delivery across geographies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in HR or People & Capability within a large, global organization.
• Strong track record of developing and executing strategic HR roadmaps that scale with business growth.
• Excellent governance, risk management and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage matrixed relationships across multiple functions and regions.
