Senior People Specialist – Services

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior People Specialist to drive the execution of key people initiatives for its Services business. The role partners closely with People Business Partners, senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure HR programs are delivered with precision and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day delivery of People Strategy initiatives, coordinating timelines and quality with PBPs and business stakeholders.
• Manage cyclical HR processes such as talent acquisition, compensation, performance calibration and organizational health inputs.
• Act as the operational anchor for the People Business Partner team, ensuring clarity and consistency across deliverables.
• Support organizational effectiveness projects, including structure design, transitions and leadership enablement.
• Prepare executive‑ready presentations, narratives and analyses for senior leaders.
• Conduct data analysis on headcount, cost, attrition, hiring and engagement, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with People Analytics and Finance to build data packs, track metrics and surface trends.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive workstreams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, People Business Partnering or related HR functions.
• Strong judgment, high ownership and proactive communication skills.
• Ability to work with speed, discretion and precision in a fast‑moving technology environment.
• Experience collaborating with senior executives and cross‑functional partners.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
