People Operations Generalist

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing automation for aviation. As a People Operations Generalist you will join the People team, reporting to the VP of Business & People Operations, and help ensure smooth onboarding, benefits administration, and legal compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including benefits enrollment and life‑event changes.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and support payroll system data integrity.
• Monitor federal, state, and local employment law changes, draft policies, and update the employee handbook.
• Prepare and file required compliance reports and documentation.
• Provide HR support to employees in multiple states and countries.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in HR compliance and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA).
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Customer‑centric mindset and positive attitude toward employee experience.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and accurate data maintenance.
• Knowledge of multi‑state employment law requirements.
