About the role
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing mid‑sized CPA and advisory firm in the Chicago area. The role starts fully onsite with a strong mentorship focus and transitions to hybrid flexibility after the first busy season.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tax services as a generalist across a variety of industries.
- Manage client tax engagements during both off‑season (≈40 hours) and busy season (55‑60 hours).
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Pursuing CPA licensure (required).
- Ability to work the seasonal hour requirements.
Required skills

- Base salary $105,000–$115,000 plus overtime paid year‑round.
