Senior Salesforce Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

About the role

aFit Staffing is seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Owner and Developer for a contract-to-hire position in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role sits within an ongoing business transformation initiative and involves modernizing and expanding the organization's Salesforce ecosystem while working closely with business and technical stakeholders. It is full-time and 100% onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner of the Salesforce platform, translating stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions and establishing governance, security and best practices.
• Drive platform optimization, modernization and adoption initiatives.
• Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow, build integrations with enterprise and third-party systems, and tune application performance.
• Evaluate and implement modern capabilities such as Agentforce and Einstein AI, and recommend technical improvements.
• Support deployment and release management, partner with developers on CI/CD best practices, and contribute to quality assurance.

Required profile

• Advanced Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flow).
• Experience owning and managing a Salesforce environment, and experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with REST API and enterprise integration; MuleSoft integration highly desired.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, work through ambiguity, and act as a trusted Salesforce advisor to executives and business users.

Required skills

• REST API and enterprise integration; MuleSoft highly desired.
• Agentforce, Einstein AI, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Salesforce DevOps tools highly desired.
• CI/CD and release management experience highly desired.
