Senior Principal Scientist – Clinical Research – Breast Cancer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Principal Scientist specializing in Breast Cancer to join our research and development division. This senior‑director level role will lead clinical research initiatives and shape early clinical development strategies for oncology drugs.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate pre‑clinical and translational data to generate early clinical development plans and IND applications.
• Develop and execute clinical development strategies, design clinical trials, and oversee operational plans for investigational or marketed oncology drugs.
• Monitor and manage ongoing clinical trials, analyze findings, and support safety, efficacy, and regulatory submissions.
• Supervise Clinical Scientists, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and maintain relationships with leading investigators.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to manage research projects and represent the company at scientific meetings.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 3 years clinical medicine experience and 3 years industry experience in drug development or biomedical research.
• Strong scientific publication record, board‑certified or eligible in Oncology (and/or Hematology), and prior breast‑cancer clinical research experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
