Clinical Scientist – Psychiatry/Neuroscience

About the role

The Clinical Scientist will review, interpret, and assess clinical data in psychiatry/neuroscience studies, communicating key findings to clients and study teams while ensuring high‑quality data and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute clinical data review plans for assigned studies.
• Analyze efficacy and safety data using listings, tables, figures, and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Track safety events in collaboration with pharmacovigilance and medical monitoring.
• Prepare data summary slides for safety and data review meetings.
• Present data trends to medical monitors, study teams, and clients.
• Query and resolve data issues in EDC, ensuring protocol compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors, data management, and cross‑functional teams on CRF design and endpoint reporting.
• Review data‑driven sections of regulatory documents (CSRs, INDs, NDAs, etc.) and provide scientific writing support.
• Mentor junior staff and utilize visual analytics tools to communicate insights.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, study design, and GCP/ICH regulations.
• Deep understanding of neuroscience therapeutic areas, product profiles, and safety concepts.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and within teams, and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Ability to work with data visualization and visual analytics platforms.
