Senior Scientist – Supply Analytical Sciences

About the role

The Senior Scientist will lead analytical chemistry activities within the Supply Analytical Sciences (SAS) group, supporting API and drug substance manufacturing. This laboratory‑based position works in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team at our Rahway, NJ site.

Key responsibilities

• Author analytical procedures, validation protocols, technical reports and regulatory submission documents.
• Perform investigations, troubleshoot analytical issues and provide technical input during inspections and audits.
• Evaluate and qualify analytical methods for critical quality attributes of cGMP materials.
• Train staff on analytical techniques and problem‑solving approaches.

Required profile

• MS in Chemistry with ≥8 years pharmaceutical development experience, or PhD in Analytical Chemistry with ≥2 years experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to work across cultures and adapt to change.
• Self‑motivated, ownership‑driven and knowledgeable of ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
