Associate Director, Study Manager – Atherosclerosis & Metabolism

About the role

This position participates in the strategy and leads the operational planning and execution of one or more clinical trials. You will demonstrate advanced leadership and technical skills as part of a global, cross‑functional team, building and coaching your team in project management, communication and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for operational planning, feasibility, execution and conduct of clinical trial(s).
• Serve as the Clinical Trial Team (CTT) lead and direct teams in study planning, operational reviews and issue escalation.
• Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including subsidiary country teams, vendors and committees.
• Review and provide clinical operations input into protocols and related documents.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, delegate activities and develop realistic project plans.
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of pharmaceutical/clinical drug development experience, or equivalent advanced degree with fewer years as specified.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
• International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guideline familiarity.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
