Senior Oncology Specialist - Sapphire

About the role

Amgen is hiring a Senior Oncology Specialist for the Minneapolis, MN territory. The specialist acts as the primary customer contact, giving medical professionals clinical knowledge of Amgen's oncology products and communicating their clinical and economic benefits. Relocation is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, including branded sales messages, planned programs and follow-up on medical education programs, while achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Service and manage accounts using internal and external relationships, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues and maintaining product contracts
• Craft a marketing strategy to drive sales and analyze the effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance with the District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and stay up to date on industry, regulatory and competitive changes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a non-sales healthcare or scientific field, OR an associate degree and 6 years, OR a high school diploma/GED and 8 years
• Preferred: oncology experience, 3+ years of sales/marketing in pharma, biotech, healthcare or medical devices, product/hospital sales in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology and inflammation, local market knowledge, and a Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Business Administration

• Expected annual salary of $140,465 to $190,041, varying with skills, experience and qualifications
