About the role

The Senior Manager, Events will create and lead a brand‑new events function for a fast‑growing consumer retail brand. Based in Culver City, this full‑time, onsite position will shape event strategy, build scalable processes, and deliver customer‑facing experiences that boost brand awareness and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Build and scale the events function, establishing operational frameworks, processes, and best practices.
• Create annual event roadmaps, planning processes, and budget strategies for a diverse portfolio of experiences.
• Design and implement scalable operating procedures, project‑management frameworks, and vendor‑management processes.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of customer‑facing events, brand experiences, launches, and community programs.
• Manage timelines, budgets, logistics, production schedules, and vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand programming, enhance engagement, and support growth in new markets.
• Establish performance measurement frameworks to evaluate event effectiveness and ROI.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with agencies, production partners, venues, and external vendors.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Retail Operations, Creative, Merchandising, and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, brand activations, or retail marketing.
• Proven success building, scaling, or transforming event programs within a growing organization.
• Experience managing large‑scale, customer‑facing events.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution ability.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments and build programs from the ground up.
