Senior Lead Recruiter, GTM

About the role

Ramp is looking for a Senior/Lead Recruiter to own end‑to‑end hiring for Sales and GTM functions. You will partner with GTM leadership to translate ambitious hiring plans into real teams, using AI‑augmented research and a data‑driven approach.

Key responsibilities

• Use AI and research tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, Gong, Claude, internal data) to build target lists of high‑performing candidates.
• Develop a clear market view for each search, produce written point‑of‑view artifacts, and share them with hiring managers.
• Execute personalized outreach, manage the full recruiting cycle in Ashby, and maintain pipeline hygiene.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to close candidates with competing offers, including reference sequencing and offer construction.
• Act as a strategic partner to GTM leaders, push back on mis‑scoped searches, surface compensation realities early, and translate wishlists into concrete profiles.
• Continuously improve hiring processes, compensation benchmarking, employer branding, and GTM talent evaluation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑cycle GTM/Sales or G&A recruiting in high‑growth or top‑tier startup environments.
• Proven track record of identifying and hiring top talent who become high performers.
• Comfortable using AI/LLMs daily for research, outreach, and data summarisation.
• Strong research instincts and ability to articulate why a candidate is top‑decile.
• Demonstrated closing skill with senior hires against competing offers.
• Data‑literacy with experience in Ashby (or equivalent ATS) and funnel metrics.
• High‑urgency operating mode with excellent written communication.
