Senior Interventional Vascular Tech

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Senior Interventional Vascular Tech to join the Heart and Vascular Center at Akron General Medical Center. This full‑time position works days plus call, supporting cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physician‑directed exams and invasive procedures using sterile technique in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology Lab.
• Prepare patients, assess pulses, set up sterile fields, and operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and coordinate with the department manager on supply needs.
• Respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends for emergent procedures.
• Provide patient education, screening, scheduling, and assist with patient transport.

Required profile

• Graduated from an approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT registration (R) in good standing and state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: Cardiovascular‑Interventional Radiography certification (CV) and 1‑2 years experience in diagnostic or special procedures.
