About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join the team at Akron General Medical Center, a 500+ bed Level 1 Trauma Center. The position offers a sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates and loan repayment assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑anesthetic assessments, develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans, and document care.
• Administer anesthesia during induction, maintenance, and emergence phases, monitoring patient physiology and responding to changes.
• Communicate any alterations in patient status to the responsible physician and follow hospital policies on safety, attendance, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited CRNA program.
• Current RN licensure and CRNA certification in Ohio.
• Current CPC certification with NBCRNA and State Board endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Required skills

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – if required by setting.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – if required by setting.
